The Spirit Who Unites: Let Divine Forgiveness Overflow

Fr Joby George VC reflects on the Holy Spirit as the Spirit who unites and on unforgiveness as a root that divides families, relationships and communities. Drawing on Scripture and his own struggles with anger and forgiveness, he explains why human forgiveness becomes exhausted and why we need to receive the forgiveness of Jesus from the Cross until it overflows from us to others.

A Discipleship Powered by the Holy Spirit

Christian discipleship cannot be reduced to prayers, retreats, blessings or a comfortable life. Fr Michael explains why the Holy Spirit is essential to accepting the lordship of Jesus, receiving difficult teaching, carrying the cross without cowardice, living love beyond ego, discerning truth and keeping eternal life as the destination of faith.
